Remote Learning at CHPS
Our approach to remote learning
Following advice from the Victorian Government our students will be returning to remote learning from Monday 20th July.
Whilst we are not able to physically be together as a community at this time we are showing our strong community spirit and supporting each other through this challenging time.
Staff, students and parents are working together to continue to nurture each student's development.
We are using Google Classroom to provide rich and individualised learning programs for each student. To stay connected we are having daily Webex (video conferencing) meetings either individually, small groups or whole class.
We understand that students benefit from having a variety of learning experiences so our online learning is complemented with fortnightly home learning packs which include games, manipulative materials, craft supplies, readers and other learning resources which complement the online program and cater to each child's individual stage of learning.
This term our remote learning program will also include a Bush School program as this is now an important part of our weekly curriculum.
