Like most things at CHPS we have created our Kitchen Garden program to our own ideal and call it 'Nourishing Numeracy'.
The program has a strong focus on the links between Maths, Sustainability and Health and Nutrition and seeks to build our students' life skills through: cooking, measuring, awareness of the seasons, responsibility for care of the gardens and maintenance, planning meals and budgeting for them, planting, harvesting and most of all, the joy of wholesome food!
As you can see from the photos, we even attract intergalactic guest gardeners!
